What's inside

Six tools that already know about each other.

Write a script in the editor, run it in the console, serve the folder it writes to, open the result in your browser — without leaving the app or plugging anything in.

Console

A shell that speaks Python

Run scripts, run single lines, read the traceback where it happened. Command history survives a restart.

Editor

Edit and run in one tap

Syntax colours, autosave, and a run button that sends the file straight to the console.

Files

A real file manager

Browse the workspace, rename, move, zip, extract, share. Long-press a row for everything else.

Packages

pip, on your phone

Install what your script needs. Flask ships built in, so a web app runs the second you open the app.

Servers

localhost, finally

Serve a folder or run a Flask app on a port. Open it in Chrome, or hand the Wi-Fi link to the laptop.

Plugins

Add your own tabs

A plugin is a folder with plugin.json and main.py. It can add commands, a panel, settings and a guide.

Official plugins

Built by Exp_Studio. Install the zip, flip the switch.

Every one of these is free and works offline. More → Plugins → Install a plugin → File or zip.

Install

Three steps, about a minute.

Download the APK

Android will ask you to allow installs from your browser the first time. That prompt is normal for any app that isn't from the Play Store.

Open PyCmd and pick a workspace

Grant storage access so the file manager can see your folder. Everything the app writes stays inside the folder you choose.

Add plugins if you want them

More → Plugins → Install a plugin → File or zip, then turn it on. Nothing above needs a plugin to work.

Questions

Before you ask.

Is it really free?

Yes. No ads, no account, no paid tier, no analytics wall. Exp_Studio builds free tools and this is one of them.

Do I need root or a PC?

No. Nothing is rooted, nothing is sideloaded onto a desktop, and no cable is involved. The APK installs like any other app.

Does it work without internet?

The console, editor, files and servers all work offline. You only need a connection to install a package with pip or to fetch something from a script.

What can other people on my Wi-Fi see?

Only what you serve, and only while a server is running. Stop it from the Servers tab and the address goes dead. On public Wi-Fi, think twice before serving a folder.

Can I write my own plugin?

Yes — that's the point of the plugin API. A plugin can register console commands, add a tab with its own HTML panel, add rows to the Files menu, expose settings and ship a guide.

Where do I report a bug?

Message Exp_Studio on the Discord. Tell it what you ran and paste the console output.
